A Useful Guide to Blog Attacks
A recent Forbes article noted:
Web logs are the prized platform of an online lynch mob spouting liberty but spewing lies, libel and invective. Their potent allies in this pursuit include Google and Yahoo.( This author must have been talking about me.)
Because this article spewed lies, libel, and blogslander about us. We decided people needed a simple guide to creating their own Blog Attack. Here it goes. Un-edited for your blogpleasure.
1) Chose your victim.
This is important because if you chose the wrong victim you could end up dead. The wisest choices include former employers, or the competition.
2) Be Anonymous
Go to the public library, internet cafe, or kinkos and get a free email address from hotmail that you plan never to use again.
3) Chose your host
Sign up for a blogspot, wordpress,or typepad account. If you signup for a typepad account you are going to want to use promotional code movable. It get’s you 90 days free. That’s plenty of time to create a lot of libel. After that they never delete so no worries. It’s even smarter to create 2 identical sites so that if one gets deleted you always have a backup. Plus it gives Google more to play with.
4) Select a catchy username
For example if you are attacking ABCcompany then chose something like abccompanysucks. Or abccompanyCorruption. Make sure you use the name of the victim in the username. Google likes it better that way. And so do your stupid readers.
5) Do some fresearch
Go and see if others are talking about them. Some good places are Technorati,Blogsearch,Ice Rocket and of course Google. When you create your posts make sure you link others that are talking about your victim. It helps create relevancy in the search results.
6) A simple investment makes revenge go a long way
Spend a little money and buy some Google Ads using the victims name as the keyword search, or possibly their field of expertise. Use Google’s keyword tool to help you locate what Keywords are best. Hang out in business bashing forums and spread your link love around. It’s always good to talk to other bitter folks.
